The purpose of the Children's Home is to provide quality care for children who have been separated from their homes due to Death, Divorce, Separation, Neglect, Abuse or Inability to adjust to their present living situation.

a child can grow and develop as an individual.

Santa’s Sleigh
December 9, 2024
Volunteers to help move Santa’s sleigh to its December home were plentiful when they found out that they could get a ride in the sleigh.
The sleigh has been a part of our Christmas decorations for decades.
Santa, a pile of presents and the sleigh, will be located at the intersection of Business Highway 30 and Highway 77 on our campus.

About the Masonic-Eastern Star
Home for Children
The Masonic-Eastern Star Home for Children has been providing quality child care for over 100 years. Located at the intersection of Highways 30 and 77 in Fremont, Nebraska. The Children's Home was founded by two fraternal organizations, the Masons and the Eastern Star, to provide care for children in need.
The Children's Home seeks to provide an environment of love, security and acceptance where a child can grow and develop as an individual.

Help Us Provide Welcome Kits!
When new children arrive at the home, often they come with very little in the way of basic items that they need to settle in to our community and feel welcome.
We have created a Welcome Kit that each child is given upon arrival that consists of a duffle bag filled with those basic items they need to get off to a good start.
